HYPNOTHERAPY

You can expect a non-judgemental support session that helps you to clearly focus on your goals and reflect upon your successes. You will be taken through the support session step by step. The first part of which is an induction and relaxation activity, followed by suggestions based on your issues you wish to address and finally a reflection upon your experience.

WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY AND WHAT CAN IT HELP WITH?

Hypnotherapy is a form of relaxation therapy. It uses positive suggestions, which you create with the therapist, to help you develop new and supportive thoughts, feelings and behaviours. During relaxation you have complete control, and your subconscious mind becomes focused and able to absorb the new positive suggestions. This allows these new ideas to take root and create change in your day to day life.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?

You can expect a non-judgemental and understanding session, where you will get an opportunity to discuss what you want to achieve or any improvements that you have seen. You will then receive an induction which will enter the required relaxed state. This is followed by the implementation of the suggestions that you want. You will then be brought out of the relaxed state to conscious awareness. We will then have another chat about how you feel the session went. All the time you will be in control and guide what we talk about.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

Each session is approximately 60 min. People choose to work on various aspects of their life such as phobia, anxiety, losing weight and so on. The aspect(s) which you identify will determine the number of support sessions required.
